It is estimated that more than 140,000 dogs and cats are abandoned in Spain every year. Faced with this alarming situation, private initiatives are emerging to help these unprotected animals, in the form of associations and foundations, which rescue, recover and find homes for them.
There is, therefore, a high rate of abandonment which, together with a low rate of adoptions, leads to a pressing need for funding to be able to care for all the animals taken in.
Thanks to our experience of having rescued thousands of animals to find them homes, we know that feeding them is the first necessity for their recovery and one of the biggest deficiencies they have had. That is why we decided to develop a quality food that would reach all the animals waiting for their new chance in adoption centres all over Spain. We also wanted it to help us raise funds for their care.
