140,000 dogs and cats are abandoned in Spain every year.

At GoodBowl we believe that together we will change the fate of these homeless animals.

Who are we?

After more than two decades of helping thousands of abandoned animals, we wanted to continue to expand the scope of our help to as many of them as possible. To make this possible, in 2018 the Benjamin Mehnert Foundation (FBM) created the first 100% solidarity food project in Spain. To develop and manage this project, it founded GoodBowl, a social enterprise that allocates 100% of the profits generated to the care of the animals rescued by the Spanish associations that have joined this project. These are associations that, like FBM, take in, care for and find homes for thousands of animals in need every year.

Our goal is to feed and help the adoption of 40,000 animals in the next 5 years. A challenge that we could not achieve alone or with sporadic collaborations, so we created GoodBowl, a project that helps to finance the work of more and more animal protection associations that are joining the project.

Those of us who have been saving lives for years know that every animal we help teaches us lessons in self-improvement, loyalty and affection. We want to give them at least a part of what we receive from them and help many people who dedicate their lives to the protection of animals to continue doing so.

How does GoodBowl help to finance the associations involved in the project?

The associations, which are assigned a code, spread the GoodBowl brand among their network of collaborators (partners, adopters, volunteers, supporters, social networks...) and the profit from the sale of the products on which their code is indicated goes directly to that association.

In the Happy Stories section you can find out about some of the animals of the associations you are helping with your purchase.

GoodBowl is also a high quality food for your animal and also for those who are waiting for their new chance in the adoption centres of these associations throughout Spain. We have a special format for the association's centres, so that your animals are well nourished and recover sooner after their rescue.

We want to be transparent and make the details of our social enterprise known. To this end, GoodBowl's accounts will be audited every year and published here, so that you can find out which associations you have helped with your food purchases.
