The “Asociación Nacional Amigos de los Animales” has rescued more than 33.000 animals since its foundation  in 1992. They promote responsible tenure and treatment of animals, empathy and respect towards them.

While they stay in their shelter the animals are given the care they need:  Food, exercise, affection and veterinarian attention.  Nevertheless the shelter of ANAA is meant to be an intermediate station because the objective is that all animals are adopted and find their own family to offer them the conditions required for their best possible quality of life.
